Epoxy Moxy

Here’s a funny story: Some cracks in the basin of a pretty combination fountain/planter out front has prevented it’s intended use all year.  It was our first venture into fiberglass, so I’ll just use mention of S’s sock epoxied to his foot as an example of how it went.  While the mess dried he installed an exterior outlet so we’d be able to plug in the water pump.  As we went back and forth from front yard to back, fetching tools and stucco patch, we wondered aloud to each other if anyone would notice the “crack” job once the basin was full of water and the fountain flowing.  Coming back around to the front yard we got our answer: the aft half of a dead fish awaited us, perfectly in our path.  We can only guess it was one of the owls, as if to say “Whoo do you think you’re kidding?”
